Service Monitoring comes with some configuration options that Confluence administrators can use to adjust Service Monitoring to their needs.

  1. Confluence UI
    When active, a link to the https://ant-tech.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SEMO/pages/92340320 is added to the global header navigation:

     

  2. Incidents
    When active links are closed automatically when a later check succeeds.
    check fails → incident open → 1 hour passes → check succeeds → incident is closed automatically

     

  3. Email Notifications
    Uses the same email server as Confluence. Define when emails are sent:

    • a new incident opened

    • an incident is open after 1, 3 or 7 days

    • someone marked the incident as being handled

    • an incident is closed

  4. Permissions
    By default only Confluence administrators can create/edit monitoring entries.
    Add user groups to allow the users of these groups to create/edit monitoring entries.
